WRAS and Dubbo cyclist, Danny Barber has reached new heights at the NSW Track Championships at Dunc Grey Velodrome over the weekend, after an amazing effort on the first day of competition.

Danny now holds an Australian record for the 200 metre sprint event following his impressive 10.873 second performance. This makes him the first Under-17 rider in Australian history to complete this event in under 11 seconds.

Danny came away with a total of 5 gold and 1 silver medals.

The WRAS cycling team did an incredible job by earning 37 out of a total of 72 medals on offer, which included 18 of 24 gold. A huge congratulations to all riders who took part in this event.
