FUTURE STARS

Future Stars Program – this program is tailored for athletes who are ineligible for WRAS squad programs (ie. there is no program for their sport). It is expected that athletes are at the level of representing NSW in their sport and/or demonstrating high and consistent performance in their sport (if state representation is not aligned with their sport).  Athletes must be turning 14-18 years of age in 2026. These scholarships are designed to assist pre-elite youth athletes in any sport, who are living or attending school in the western region.

The 2026 Future Stars program will run from October 2025 to June 2026. Athletes will graduate at the 2026 Presentation Evening in June.

Nominations for the 2026 Future Stars program have now closed.
