The Cooke Hockey Complex will host 48 talented Hockey players, on Wednesday the 26 August. The athletes will trial for the 2009/10 WRAS Hockey Squad. The trials will begin at 4.30pm, with the girls taking the field first, followed by the male athletes who will conclude at 9pm.
The athletes will travel from all across the region, representing towns including, Bathurst, Cowra, Lithgow, Orange, Wallarawang, Mudgee, Parkes and Dubbo.
NSW Institute of Sport’s, emerging talent coach, Judy Lang will attend the trials as the selector. Lithgow’s Wayne Gaynor will continue as Head Coach of the squad.
Athletes selected in the WRAS Squad will commence their scholarship with the Academy in November.
