2007 S&C program wins award!
The 2008 Strength and Conditioning program is now well underway with many athletes starting their program, and many more to meet with the S&C interns over the next week during the first S&C Road Trip. The new interns, Nathan and Ash, have a lot to live up to with the previous years S&C program being recognised for its success and innovation in a ceremony held at Telstra Stadium several weeks ago. Our 2007 ‘Country and Western’ Annual Presentation evening for graduating athletes went off with a bang- literally (thanks to those rogue balloons)…. The biggest ever congratulations to our 2007 WRAS Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Fernley, who we heard was about to compete in the New York City Marathon. And guess what- HE WON!
