Strength and Conditioning Road Trip

Sarah FeebreyRyan Nelson The WRAS Strength and Conditioning Interns and WRAS staff are heading out on the road visiting WRAS athletes. The purpose of these visits is for the interns to make face to face contact with the athletes they don’t normally get to see, see where everyone is up to with their initial S&C program and assess who is ready to move up a level when the next programs are released just before Christmas. Sarah Feebrey was out on the road this week visiting the Lithgow hockey athletes and will be in Lithgow again visiting all hockey and local athletes. Ryan Nelson and Sarah will be on the road next week visiting Parkes, Grenfell and Dubbo (details below) and all athletes from towns surrounding these are expected to attend and should have received a letter regarding this in the mail. There are also plans for the interns to visit Orange and Mudgee sometime next week, so please keep checking your emails regularly so you can stay up to date with the latest information. This S&C road trip is a great opportunity for all WRAS athletes to have a personal consultation with the interns without having to travel too far from your own home town. Don’t forget, you can also organise a Strength and Conditioning session with your intern at the Gym at CSU Bathurst during their consultation hours (details below). All you need to do to book an appointment is log in to the S&C blog and select the ‘request a S&C consultation’ or you can contact your intern directly.
