Nominations for the WRAS 2019 cycling squad will open in early August 2018

Who is eligible?

Athletes living or attending school/tertiary education or meaningfully employed in the WRAS catchment area

What area is the WRAS catchement?

The WRAS catchment includes the following council areas:  Bathurst Regional, Bland, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Dubbo Regional (including Wellington), Forbes, Gilgandra, Hilltops (including Boorowa and Young), Lachlan, Lithgow, Mid-Western Regional, Narromine, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.

Age and Number of Athletes

The WRAS 2019 cycling program will cater for pre-elite male and female athletes in the U15 (born 2005 and 2006), U17 (born 2003 and 2004) and U19 (2001 and 2002) age groups

You must attend all development training activities and events that are conducted throughout the duration of the program


The 2019 cycling squad program will run from October 2018 to July 2019


Athletes will be assessed on a set criteria. WRAS expects cycling to be your primary sport of participation
