Who is eligible?

Athletes living or attending school/tertiary education, meaningfully employed in the Western Region

What area is Western Region?

The WRAS catchment includes the following council areas:  Bathurst Regional, Bland, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Dubbo Regional (including Wellington), Forbes, Gilgandra, Hilltops (including Young), Lachlan, Lithgow, Mid-Western Regional, Narromine, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.

Age and Number of Athletes

The WRAS 2018 cycling program will cater for pre-elite male and female athletes in the U15 (born 2004 and 2005), U17 (born 2002 and 2003) and U19 (2000 and 2001) age groups

You must attend all development training activities and events that are conducted throughout the duration of the program


The 2018 cycling squad program will run from October 2017 to July 2018


Athletes will be assessed on a set criteria. WRAS expects cycling to be your primary sport of participation
