NETBALL
The WRAS Netball Squad is heading to Canberra this weekend for the SWIS Games. The Inter Academy Tournament starts at 9 am Sunday morning and concludes at 3pm. It gives the squad a chance to compete against teams from the Illawarra, South East Region and Southern Sports Academies and provides the squad with invaluable game time before all Academies meet in July for the NIB Games.

ELIZA and Bernadette Barden have won bronze and gained national selection at the Ivor Burge National Basketball Championships on the weekend.
The dynamic Orange duo represented NSW Country at the championships, beating South Australia in the bronze medal match.
The 17-year-old twins, who attend The Canobolas Rural Technology High School, have been regulars in the national side and head coach Carmen Skidmore says they both shone in the tournament.
“Eliza was the top scorer in just about every match she played in and Bernie was never far behind her,” Skidmore said.
Keelan Crawford and former WRAS squad member Mitchell Mavrak represented NSW Country at the Tournament.
